Dementia Friendly Screenings
The main differences between our regular and dementia friendly screenings are:
- Additional dementia friendly signage around the venue
- No adverts, trailers or commercials
- The lights are left on low and the sound levels reduced
- Screenings are relaxed, with the audience encourage to sing, dance, move around and talk during the film
- Additional wheelchair user spaces are available
- 15-minute interval
- There are volunteers and additional staff to assist you
- The ticket price includes refreshments
Ticket Information
Loundsley Green Community Centre can be accessed using bus route 39 - Grangewood Farm - Holme Hall.
There is an on-site car park and on-road parking. This is free of charge and subject to availability.

Paddington (2014)
Dementia Friendly Screening
From the beloved novels by Michael Bond and producer David Heyman (Harry Potter), Paddington tells the story of the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear who travels to the city in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined - until he meets the kindly Brown family who read the label around his neck ('Please look after this bear. Thank you.') and offer him a temporary haven. It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist...
Cast includes Hugh Bonneville, Jim Broadbent, Tim Downie, Sally Hawkins, Imelda Staunton and Julie Walters.
