Chesterfield Theatres will be joining forces once again with award-winning pantomime producers Paul Holman Associates to present Sleeping Beauty!

Instantly recognisable from EastEnders and Coronation StreetMichelle Collins will be casting her own special spell over audiences as the bad fairy Carabosse.

He captured the hearts of the nation with his performances on Britain’s Got Talent and as pantomime hero, Jai McDowall is sure to win the hearts of audiences too.

Bringing a palette of pantomime comedy, chaos and calamities to the production will be in the multi-talented hands of Lloyd Warbey, host of the legendary children’s TV classic Disney’s Art Attack

Please join us at the Winding Wheel Theatre for the Sleeping Beauty Pantomime - a fantastical tale full of fairies, bravery and enchantment. Featuring all of the best-loved panto shenanigans live on stage – with an abundance of laughter, dance and music along with dazzling scenery and costumes, spectacular special effects and plenty of audience interaction. This perfect Christmas treat is for the entire family to enjoy!

Due to the restoration of the historic Stephenson Memorial Hall which houses the Pomegranate Theatre, Sleeping Beauty will take place at the Winding Wheel Theatre. To read more about the restoration project, please visit the Council's information about 'Revitalising the Heart of the City'.

can hear a narrator describe what is happening on stage.

Guided touch tours around the set put the performance in context to enhance the

experience for blind and partially sighted customers. Customers who have booked tickets to see a performance of Sleeping Beauty can book a ticket for our touch tour. Tickets are limited and pre-booking is available as an add-on when purchasing your tickets.

Relaxed performances are adapted for those with learning disabilities and other sensory
and communication disorders – providing a more relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

Pantomime programme offer
 - £3 instead £3.50 when purchasing at the same time as buying your tickets. When buying a programme in advance, you will receive a ticket that can be used to redeem your programme when you arrive for the performance.


Each ticket price advertised above includes a £1.50 booking fee. No matter how you book (online, phone, in person) or how you pay (cash, credit/debit card, voucher), the fee will always be the same.
