The whole walk will go south to the confluence of the Chesterfield Canal with the River Rother. It will then return to Tapton Lock Visitor Centre and split into two groups.
One group will walk northwards and the other will sail on the John Varley II narrowboat to meet together at Bluebank Lock. There we will stop for Lunch. After lunch the groups will swap over for the return to Tapton Lock.
