At the Winding Wheel Theatre
Starts Daily 10.30am, 12noon and 5pm, meet in main foyer.
Built as a cinema in 1923, the Grade II listed venue we now know as the Winding Wheel Theatre has presented 100 years of entertainment within its half-timbered mock Tudor walls.
We invite you to celebrate the centenary and learn more about the building’s history
through our special programme of events including films, a gala concert, building tours and an exhibition all taking place at the Winding Wheel Theatre.
Take a guided tour of the Grade II listed building including rarely seen backstage areas.
Mon-Fri 10.30am tours have now sold out.
Free. Must pre-book.
Add a fruit scone and tea or coffee for £5.50 when booking.
Due to the age and the number of split levels in the building, unfortunately this tour is unsuitable for customers with mobility difficulties and in wheelchairs. You can still visit the exhibition which is located in the Function Room.
