A relaxed performance is adapted for those with learning disabilities and other sensory and communication needs. Relaxed performances are also a great way to introduce little ones to panto. We make small adjustments to the technical aspects of the show so it’s a gentler experience. The volume is slightly lower and special effects such as strobe lighting are removed, the auditorium lighting is also on at a low level throughout. The doors to the auditorium remain open and safe spaces are made available in other areas of the venue for those who may want to take a break from the performance. This provides a more relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
