Pomegranate Theatre now open!

Posted on: Wednesday 12 May 2021

We are pleased to announce that the Pomegranate Theatre is now open!

We have been busy putting a number of comprehensive measures in place to ensure a safe environment for audiences and staff, and we are now ready to open the Pomegranate Theatre.

We have a new socially distanced seating plan in place for live events and cinema in May and June and we have put together some information about pre-booking tickets for these events and what to expect when you visit.

We have an exciting programme of cinema screenings and live theatre will return from Sat 22 May.

Cinema screenings include Ammonite starring Kate Winslet, multi-award winning Nomadland with Frances McDormand, the much-anticipated Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, and an eye-popping blend of classic animation and live action in Tom and Jerry the Movie. There are also plenty of fantastic films and satellite broadcasts still to be released in 2021 which we look forward to sharing with you in our ongoing programme.

To relaunch the first weekend of live events since 2020, we have Judy and Liza - The Musical featuring West End stars, and John Godber’s touching and hilarious classic April in Paris starring Joe Pasquale and Sarah Earnshaw.

To limit queues and contact time, please book our reopening events and future events online wherever possible. Friends of the Pomegranate Theatre can now also book online and this includes cinema tickets on which savings can be made.

As well as avoiding disappointment by a guaranteed seat, pre-booking tickets online will help to reduce contact and queues at the box office. You can also spoil yourself by pre-ordering tasty treats including ice creams, sweets, and drinks at a reduced price. You will be given the option to select the discounted packages when checking out.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Pomegranate Theatre!

If booking tickets online does not meet your requirements and you need to book tickets over the phone or in person, please see our Box Office opening times.
