Discover Chesterfield Museum’s Pop-Up Trail and Win £100!
Chesterfield Museum invites you to explore its recently updated pop-up display trail, part of the Museum on the Move initiative. While the museum is temporarily closed for refurbishment, this project ensures that you can still connect with Chesterfield’s rich history and culture.
The trail features over twenty-five museum objects displayed across five display cases which are located at:
- Chesterfield Market Hall
- Chesterfield Town Hall (ground floor and level 1)
- Queen’s Park Sports Centre
- Health Living Centre, Staveley
The museum collection is so diverse, it is nice to share some of our more unique items with the public though our outreach cases. This collection is done on behalf of the people of Chesterfield to record their history and so we want to share it with you. These outreach cases are spread around the borough and so as a challenge for visitors, we created the museum wordle trail which all ages can take part in. Display case themes include model trains, Medieval Pilgrim badges, Chesterfield medicine, and cameras.
Whilst you’re there, make note of the letter displayed on each case and guess the word for your chance to win £100 to spend on tickets at Chesterfield Theatres. Entries close on 31 January 2026 and details on how to enter can be found on the display cases.
